Yellow Cover Tape Extenders are the standard pre-cut SMT leader tape solution for extending cover tape when a reel has little or no leader available. Apply the strip directly to the cover tape, feed through the feeder, and continue production without sacrificing components to the load-in. Ideal for partial reels, returned stock, and short-run setups where a reliable leader tape extender keeps the line moving. Use different colors to tell reel sizes apart at a glance.
