Black (ESD) Cover Tape Extenders are the ESD-safe leader tape solution for production lines handling static-sensitive components. Available in the widest size range from 4mm to 56mm, with strip length options of 396mm and 500mm depending on size, these SMT leader tape extenders eliminate the need to discard partial reels or interrupt feeder loading.
The non-skid PET material is engineered to pass cleanly through feeders without slipping. Apply directly to the cover tape, feed through the feeder, and continue production without losing components. Ideal for partial reels, returned stock, and ESD-sensitive applications across reel widths from micro-format (4mm) to large-format (56mm).
