The CJ172 SMT Cutting Jig is a precision cutting tool for SMT carrier tapes from 8mm to 72mm. Engineered for perfect 90-degree accuracy, the dual-blade mechanism (top and bottom blades) delivers sharp, clean cuts that prepare carrier tape ends for splicing. Built for high-volume SMT production where consistent splice quality is essential.

The patented shift function adjusts for different pitch cuts, while alignment pin blocks on both sides ensure precise tape positioning. The cover tape peel-off function lifts the cover tape from right to left before cutting, preventing adhesion issues during reel transitions and improving downstream feeder performance.
