The V Splice Tool is the latest innovation in efficient SMT splicing, specially designed for 8mm carrier tapes. This all-in-one tool integrates cutting and splicing in a single, compact unit—saving time, reducing handling, and minimizing errors during reel changes.

With its foldable splice jig built directly into the base, operators can quickly cut the tape and apply splice tape in one streamlined motion. V-shaped blades on the top and bottom create a distinctive, precise cut that aligns perfectly using the integrated alignment pin blocks on both sides.

The V cutting guide supports two pitch sizes, giving you flexibility for different component formats. Best of all, there’s no need to peel back the cover tape before splicing, making the process faster and cleaner.

For added efficiency, the V Splice Tool can be mounted directly onto the SC132 Splice Cart, making it ideal for fast-paced production environments.

Compatible with AFT, DSBL and DSPX splice tapes.
